SUBJECT: Road Closure

GENERAL NARRATIVE
Due to a traffic collision, utility lines are blocking the roadway around the 1100-1200 block of East Stone Drive between Idle Hour Road and Pinebrook Drive. Work crews are currently on scene to make the roadway safe; however, all lanes of travel, both eastbound and westbound, are shut down at the above section of East Stone Drive. Motorists are encouraged to prepare for traffic delays during their morning commute if they must travel through this area, and they are encouraged to seek alternate routes to avoid major traffic congestion along the East Stone Drive corridor. The following detours around the affected area have been emplaced, but this detour is not open to commercial traffic. All commercial traffic will be turned around and rerouted.
DETOUR FOR WESTBOUND NON-COMMERCIAL TRAFFIC:
All westbound vehicle traffic is currently being diverted from East Stone Drive to Pinebrook Drive, then to Caribbean Drive – Idle Hour Drive – and back onto East Stone Drive.
DETOUR FOR EASTBOUND NON-COMMERCIAL TRAFFIC:
All eastbound vehicle traffic is currently being diverted from East Stone Drive to Idle Hour Road, then to Caribbean Drive – Pinebrook Drive – and back onto East Stone Drive.
Again, the entire portion of East Stone Drive between Idle Hour Road and Pinebrook Drive is currently closed. No commercial traffic will be allowed through. Please make appropriate travel arrangements and use caution while making your morning commute.
