On Monday, June 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, the Kingsport Police and Fire Departments will be hosting a Public Safety Day at the Kingsport Farmers Market, located at 308 Clinchfield Street in Kingsport. Citizens of all ages are encouraged to save the date and join us as we showcase some of our vehicles, specialized teams, and equipment.
What to expect: Kingsport Police Department · Mobile Command Post · Armored Rescue Vehicle · Patrol Cruisers · Bomb Squad and Robot · K-9 Unit with Dog Demonstrations · SWAT Team with Gear Displays · Drone Team with Flight Demonstrations · Bicycle Patrol · Recruiting for Police, Jail, and Dispatch · And more… Kingsport Fire Department · Ladder Truck · Technical Rescue Team · Water and Rope Rescue · Hose Line Drills · Bicycle Medics · Several Interactive Activities · HAZ-MAT · Sparky the Fire Dog · Family Fire Safety Skills · And more… This event is open to the public and is a prime opportunity to meet and learn more about some of the hard working First Responders who protect and serve the City of Kingsport. |
