KINGSPORT
‚¬â€ The evidence of Kingsports strong community ties and ability to pull
through the hard times is apparent in numerous ways, and Fun Fest is
one of the more prominent examples.

Wanda Valentine, the 2009 Fun Fest chairwoman, expressed this
opinion during her closing remarks at Tuesdays Fun Fest press
conference at the Kingsport Town Center.

I think when we have tough times we especially need our families
and community, so I am very grateful for this community, Valentine
said. Fun Fest is just one example of the many blessings that we have
here because we have people like you who put it together, who sponsor
it, who attend it, and just make it all continue to work and provide
top quality entertainment for the community at a low cost.

Fun Fest will be held this year July 10-18.
