I would like to open a liquor store.
The number of liquor stores was established by the City Code based on population. Currently the City of Kingsport has the maximum number of stores allowed. There is not a waiting list.
I want to sell wine in my store.
This license is granted by the Tennessee Alcohol and Beverage Commission. You may apply online or contact the local office in Johnson City at 423-434-6451. You will need a certificate of compliance from the City of Kingsport. The application for this can be picked up for the City Clerk’s office.
I want to sell/serve wine at a special event.
