|Leaf Collection Begins October 15|
The City of Kingsport provides leaf collection for our residents beginning the second week in October and ending the second week of January. The city is divided into six different zones, with crews servicing each area in a route based format. It takes approximately two weeks to cover each area. Leaves should be raked to the edge of the roadway, but not in the road, to facilitate pick-up. The leaf pile should be no wider than 10 feet to allow for the truck’s hose to reach the pile. Bagged leaves will be picked up with your regular yard waste collection throughout the year.
