The City Clerk’s Office maintains and preserves all public records, contracts, deeds, agreements, the city seal, ordinances, resolutions and minutes of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BMA) and Beverage Board, as well as noticing, attending and recording BMA meetings.

In addition, the City Clerk’s office is responsible for oversight of the Beverage Board and city-owned real property and responding to public record/property inquiries. As Deputy City Recorder, the clerk administers oaths of office, and maintains custody and use of the city seal.
