GENERAL NARRATIVE |
On November 6, 2014 at approximately 9:00 PM, Kingsport Central Dispatch was notified of an armed robbery in progress at the Minute Market located at 1108 East Center Street in Kingsport. Kingsport Police Patrol Officers and Detectives responded. The subsequent investigation revealed the following:
An unknown white male suspect with a small build entered the store dressed in dark colored clothing from head to toe, including a ski mask and gloves. He brandished what appeared to be a large framed, dark colored, semi-automatic pistol and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money prior to police arrival. Nobody was injured during the incident. The robbery was captured on surveillance video, and photos taken from that footage are included in this release.
