KPD e-News Release: Female Suspect Sought in Fraudulent Use of Stolen Debit Card
GENERAL NARRATIVE |
Kingsport Police Detectives are requesting assistance from the public in identifying a female suspect in connection with the fraudulent use of a stolen debit card.
On September 19, 2014 at approximately 6:30 AM, an individual accidentally left his wallet on the counter after making a purchase at the Roadrunner Market, located at 2000 North Eastman Road in Kingsport. Moments later, a female suspect apparently found the wallet and unsuccessfully attempted to use several credit/debit cards from the wallet to purchase three cartons of cigarettes. When these initial attempts failed, the suspect went to Zoomers, located at 3717 Memorial Boulevard, where she successfully made three separate purchases totaling approximately $125.00. Several photographs of the suspect are included in this release. She appears to be a heavy-set white-female with tattoos on both upper arms. Surveillance video clips showing the suspect have been made available for viewing on the K.P.D.
