No Changes to Kingsport Garbage/Yard Waste Collection for Holiday Weekend

The City of Kingsport will not be adjusting garbage or yardwaste routes due to the Labor Day holiday.  Monday’s garbage and yardwaste routes will be picked up on the normal schedule.

This will include the black and blue-lidded carts due to the pause of the recycle pickups. All garbage and recycle carts are currently being picked up with the same truck.

City landfill changes will be as follows: The landfill will be closed on Monday, September 6 and reopen on Tuesday, September 7 at 7:30 a.m.

City offices will also be closed Monday, September 6 and will reopen on Tuesday at 8 a.m.
