| The Kingsport Police Department has installed a new 24 hour payment drop box at the Justice Center.
Effective immediately, citizens will have a new convenient method for paying citations at the K.P.D. Justice Center, located at 200 Shelby Street in downtown Kingsport. A secure drop box has been installed next to the Records Division customer service window, allowing citizens to leave payments in the form of a check or money order only. Individuals wishing to pay in cash will need to pay at the customer service window during normal business hours. Presently, credit/debit cards are not accepted. Regular business hours for the K.P.D. Records Division are 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, closed Saturday and Sunday. For additional information, please contact: Thomas M. Patton, Public Information Officer K.P.D.
