| SUBJECT: | Two Suspects Wanted for Theft of ATV and Trailer | ||

| GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
| On Christmas Eve, December 24, 2015 a Polaris All-Terrain Vehicle ($6,600 value) and a Prolite Trailer ($1,800 value) were stolen from a residence in the 2000 block of Patton Street in Kingsport. The trailer tongue had been secured with a padlock; however, the thieves cut the lock in order to facilitate the theft.
The suspects later sold the ATV and trailer to another individual who was unaware that they were stolen. When he later realized that he had purchased stolen property, he took it upon himself to track down the rightful owner and return the property to him. A subsequent investigation by the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division turned up Willard Victor Fleming and James C. “Junior” Collins as the suspects in the theft. A warrant was obtained charging the duo with Felony Theft over $1,000.
