| GENERAL NARRATIVE |
| On August 25, 2014, shortly before 4:00 PM, Kingsport Central Dispatch was notified of a fatal motor vehicle collision in the area of Hemlock Park Drive adjacent to Fort Patrick Henry Lake in Kingsport.
Multiple public safety agencies, including the Kingsport Police Department, responded. The initial investigation has determined that for unknown reasons, a single motor vehicle ran over an embankment into the lake. The deceased body of one individual has been recovered from the submerged vehicle. Additional information will be released at the appropriate time in the investigation. |
