| SUBJECT: | Kingsport Police Detectives Investigating Saturday Afternoon Road Rage Incident | ||

| GENERAL NARRATIVE |
| On November 22, 2014, shortly after 3:00 PM, Kingsport Police Patrol Officers were dispatched to westbound Interstate 26 at the exit ramp to the new Tennessee Welcome Center in reference to an incident of road rage. Their initial investigation revealed that occupants of two separate vehicles had become involved in a physical confrontation involving a weapon that resulted in two individuals being transported to an area hospital for treatment of significant, but non-life threatening injuries.
Kingsport Police Detectives responded to the scene and are in the early stages of the investigation. Additional information will be released at the appropriate point in the investigation. |
