GENERAL NARRATIVE |
On July 10, 2014, sometime between 11:45 AM and 1:30 PM, a vehicle was burglarized while it was parked outside the Downtown Academic Village, located at 300 West Market Street in Kingsport. During this auto-burglary, a woman’s wallet, containing three credit cards, was stolen.
The next day, July 11, 2014 at approximately 6:00 AM, a heavy-set white male suspect with a full beard utilized all three stolen credit cards to make four successful purchases and two unsuccessfully attempted purchases at Wal-Mart, located at 3200 Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport. Among the items purchased was an XBox video game system. The suspect also unsuccessfully attempted to use all three cards, five times each, for a total of fifteen attempts, to withdraw cash from the ATM at SunTrust Bank, located at 2060 Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport.
