KPD e-News Release: Detectives Attempting to Identify Wal-Mart Felony Shoplifter
GENERAL NARRATIVE |
On October 3, 2014 at approximately 11:45 AM, a white female suspect shoplifted over $500 in bedding materials from Wal-Mart, located at 2500 West Stone Drive in Kingsport. She left the store by pushing an overflowing shopping cart out of the lawn and garden exit, waving a receipt at an employee to signal that she had paid.
Her exit was captured by surveillance cameras, and photographs taken from the video footage are included in this release. A clip from the actual video has been made available for viewing on the K.P.D. YouTube channel via the link below: K.P.D. Detectives are asking for anyone who may know her identity to contact them in the Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
