Kingsport hosting 3-on-3 basketball tournament

The Kingsport Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a new, 3-on-3 basketball tournament next month, in partnership with 423 Hoopz.

The co-ed tournament will take place on September 21, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Borden Park basketball court. The tournament is open to participants ages 16 and older.

The registration deadline is September 16, and the registration fee is $45 per five-member team. T-shirts will be awarded to the winning team.

423 Hoopz is a Kingsport-based, community outreach program that engages youth with the sport of basketball.
