City to auction two properties April 30th
KINGSPORT – The City of Kingsport will hold an auction to receive bids on the real property located on the west side of Roller Street and Arch Street, Kingsport, Tennessee, 11th Civil District of Sullivan County, Tennessee.
The Auction will be conducted at City Hall, 225 West Center Street, Kingsport, Tennessee 37660, on April 30, 2013 at 10am.
If you are interested in bidding on this property, carefully read the additional terms of the auction in the bid packet, which is available for review and inspection during regular business hours at the Office of the City Recorder at City Hall (423-229-9384) and at the property site on the day of the auction. In addition to terms of the auction, the bid packet contains a sample quitclaim deed with a description of the property and the purchase agreement.
A deposit of 10% of the final bid must be made by the final bidder once the bidding is closed to be deposited and held by the City of Kingsport with the balance due and payable with thirty (30) days after approval of the bid by the Board of Mayor and Alderman.
