SUBJECT: KPD Investigates Crash With Injuries In Allendale
DATE: July 26th, 2024
CASE #: 24-011045
GENERAL NARRATIVE
On July 25th, 2024, at approximately 2:17 pm, Kingsport Police Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash with injuries on W. Stone Drive at the intersection of Netherland Inn Road. Investigating Officers determined that a black 2018 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by Kathy Cradic of Church Hill, was turning left from Netherland Inn Road on to W. Stone Drive when it was struck in its drivers’ side by a 2014 gray Jeep Cherokee, driven by Dandridge Walker of Church Hill and occupied by two juveniles.
The Chevrolet Cruze then struck a 2016 White Honda Pilot, driven by Kimberley Harville of Mooresburg and occupied by two juveniles, in its front driver’s panel. Officers determined that the gray Jeep Cherokee had ran the redlight on W. Stone Drive, causing the collision with the black Chevrolet Cruze.
The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze (Kathy Cradic) was taken from the scene by EMS to a local hospital for major injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the gray Jeep Cherokee (Dandridge Walker) and his juvenile passengers reported minor injuries. No injuries were reported at the scene from the driver of the Honda Pilot (Kimberely Harville) or her passengers.
Walker was cited at the scene for failure to obey a traffic control device.
