Registration open for beginner pickleball classes
Pickleball continues to dominate the nation with its fast-paced gameplay and accessibility for players of all ages. Now’s your chance to find out what the hype is all about.
Kingsport Parks and Recreation is hosting Beginner Pickleball classes every Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., March 12 to April 9 at the Riverview Park pickleball courts.
The classes are for participants ages 14 and up and the cost is $40 for city residents and $45 for non-city residents.
Students will enjoy an instructor-led course covering all aspects of basic pickleball, including the rules of the game, serving, the return serve and dinking. All equipment will be provided.
