Bays Mountain Park now hiring summer counselors, intern

Bays Mountain Park is now accepting applications for summer internships and counselor positions. Anyone interested in a highly rewarding job full of outdoor adventures should consider applying today.

The following positions are currently available:

Senior Camp Counselor – This position is perfect for college students or graduates interested in education, environmental science or recreation. Senior camp counselors supervise campers, lead nature-based activities, mentor junior counselors and help create a safe, engaging summer experience for children.
Pay: $12/hour, est. 27.5hrs/weekly
Dates: May 27 – July 31

Junior Camp Counselor – This position is ideal for high school or college students with the responsibilities being to support daily camp activities, assist with nature programs and create a positive, safe environment for campers. It’s a great first step for anyone interested in working with kids, education or the outdoors.
Pay: $10.25/hour, est. 27.5hrs/weekly
Dates: May 27 – July 31

Bays Mountain Naturalist Intern – This full-time, 12-week position offers hands-on experience in environmental education, wildlife care, trail work, outdoor recreation and assisting with resource management projects. Interns lead programs, help with animal husbandry, support conservation efforts and interact with visitors from across the region. Ideal for college students interested in biology, environmental science, education or parks and recreation.
Pay: $13/hour
Dates: May 18 – August 7
