Asphalt Preservation Project – Lynn Garden

A select number of streets in the Lynn Garden community will receive asphalt preservation treatment beginning next week.

Pavement Technology Inc., will be performing the work for the City of Kingsport beginning approximately May 26 (weather permitting). The work will take approximately one week to complete.

Some of the roads receiving treatment include ones near the Lynn View Community Center, including Virginia Street, Ridgecrest Avenue, Madison Street, Aesque Street, Cooper Street, Gillenwater Drive, Oak Drive Circle and Stapleton Drive.

Pavement Technology Inc., will be distributing door knockers the day before selected streets receive this maintenance effort. Motorists should use caution in these areas and seek alternate routes if possible, during this time.
