Section of Kingsport Greenbelt to remain closed

A section of the Kingsport Greenbelt will be closed until further notice.

Over the weekend a large number of limbs and debris piled up under the wooden bridge at the Stonebrook Place Trailhead, lifting the bridge off of the path. Barriers have been placed around the bridge and the bridge will remain closed until repairs can be made.

The closed section of the Kingsport Greenbelt is located at Mile 5 between Gibson Mill Road and the Stonebrook Place Trailhead.
