SUBJECT: Kingsport Police Department Urges Caution Due To Icy Road Conditions

GENERAL NARRATIVE
On February 5, 2026, patrol officers with the Kingsport Police Department have seen an increase in vehicle collisions, specifically in the 3400 block of East Stone Drive and along Shipley Ferry Road. Patches of ice have created hazardous driving conditions on several roadways in Kingsport. Kingsport Public works is working on treating the ice patches, and the Kingsport Police Department urges drivers to use extreme caution if they must drive this morning.
