TRPA hosting fireworks display, drone show this week

The Tennessee Recreation and Parks Association will be hosting two special outdoor events this week in connection to its 74th annual conference taking place at the MeadowView Conference Resort and Convention Center.

Hundreds of Parks and Recreation officials from across the state have traveled to the Model City this week to attend the annual conference. The four-day event features a variety of workshops, keynote speakers and networking opportunities for those in attendance.

The TRPA will host two special events this week.

–          October 14 – A fireworks display from Cement Hill beginning at 8:15 p.m.

–          October 16 – A private drone show event at Hunter Wright Stadium beginning at 8:15 p.m.

Note – the drone show is a private event and not open to the public. Dogwood Park will also be closed on October 17.
