SUBJECT: KPD Seeking Assistance In Identifying Unresponsive Male

GENERAL NARRATIVE
In the late evening of December 15th, 2023, Kingsport Police Officers responded to the 1600 block of E Street in reference to a check welfare of a male lying in a ditch. Officers located an unresponsive white male estimated to be between the ages of 50-years-old and 60-years-old. The male had significant head trauma and the cause of the injuries is currently being investigated by the Kingsport Police Department Criminal Investigations Division. Officers could not locate any identifying documents on the male subject.
The male was wearing blue jean pants, a blue long-sleeved shirt, a black down vest, and white tennis shoes. The male is estimated to weigh approximately 250 to 275 pounds and is approximately 6 feet tall. He has medium length blondish white hair.
The Kingsport Police Department is asking anyone with information as to the male’s identity or information about last known whereabouts to call the Criminal Investigation Division at (423) 229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at (423) 246-9111.
