SUBJECT: KPD Investigates Shots Fired On Dorothy Street

GENERAL NARRATIVE
On April 25th, 2024, at approximately 7:40 pm, Kingsport Police Officers responded to calls of gunfire in 900 block of Dorothy Street. Officers learned that silver or gray sedan was seen driving in the area followed by the sound of multiple gun shots. Officers located spent shell casings in the area. No injuries were reported from the incident.
A blue Chevrolet Camaro and a dark blue Subaru Forester were struck from gunfire in the incident.
This is believed to be an isolated incident.
This is still an ongoing investigation, and more details will be released when they become available.
