On 08/07/2023 at 06:29 hours, Officers with the Kingsport Police Department’s Fourth Platoon responded to a motor vehicle collision with injuries on Interstate 81 at Mile Maker 64. The collision involved tractor-trailer and a pedestrian. Due to the serious nature of the crash, the K.P.D. Traffic Unit responded to the scene to investigate.
