Kingsport offering Intermediate Basketball Skills & Drills Course
The Kingsport Parks and Recreation Department is offering an Intermediate Basketball Skills and Drills course this fall for children interested in taking their basketball proficiency to the next level.
Classes will be held every Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. from October 2 through October 23 at the V.O. Dobbins, Sr. Complex (301 Louis Street).
During this four-week course, children will refine their basketball techniques, develop game strategies and improve their teamwork skills. Instructors will emphasize sportsmanship, fitness and confidence building.
The registration fee is $40 per person for city residents and $45 per person for non-city residents. The course is open for children ages 7 and up.
