Bring your pumpkin carving skills to Kingsport’s Fall Festival
The 6th annual event will be held at the Kingsport Farmers Market
Time to don your favorite sweater, sharpen your pumpkin carving skills and come out to the Kingsport Farmers Market later this month for our annual Fall Festival. Visit the market on Saturday, October 21 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. for pumpkins, sweet fall treats, festive home décor and so much more.
Along with your favorite vendors, the Kingsport Farmers Market will celebrate the fall harvest with live music, kids’ activities and plenty of fun, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Here’s the day’s activities:
– Bring the kids and participate in mini-pumpkin painting while supplies last.
– Dance to the beat of live music from Mike Milhorn and friends.
– Enjoy a performance by the Stateline Stompers from Mountain City.
– Visit the Kingsport Carousel, which opens at 10 a.m.
– Grab some fall produce from our market vendors.
In addition, the Kingsport Public Library, Healthy Kingsport, PEAK-Young Professionals, and the Y.E.L.L.! Mayor’s Youth Council will be offering a variety of kids’ activities throughout the day.
As part of the festival, the market is also hosting a Pumpkin Carving Contest. Enter to win prizes in two categories—Best Carved and Best Decorated—in 12 & under and 13 & up categories. Pumpkin check-in begins at 8 a.m., judging starts at 11 a.m., and entrants must pick up their pumpkins by noon.
The market opens at 7 a.m. so come early and get in the fall spirit with the Kingsport Farmers Market.
