Thanksgiving holiday schedule changes in Kingsport

The City of Kingsport will be adjusting garbage routes next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Garbage route changes will be as follows:

Thursday (11/24) garbage will be picked up on Friday (11/25).

Friday (11/25) garbage will be picked up on Saturday (11/26).

Trash/Yard Waste route changes will be as follows:

Thursday (11/24) trash/yard waste will be picked up on Friday (11/25).

Friday (11/25) trash/yard waste will be picked up on Saturday (11/26).

In addition to the route changes, the city’s demolition landfill will be closed to the public on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25. The landfill will be open on Saturday, November 26 from 8:00 a.m, to 11:45 a.m. and will resume normal hours of operation on Monday, November 28.

City offices will be closed Nov. 24-25 and will reopen on Nov. 28.
