Show your support of the Kingsport Carousel with a membership
Soon you will be able to show your support of the Kingsport Carousel by purchasing a yearly membership.
The City of Kingsport is pleased to announce a new membership program will soon be offered for the Kingsport Carousel.
The Kingsport Carousel (350 Clinchfield Street) is one of the most magical destinations in town, offering residents and guests a traditional carousel ride with more than 30 hand-carved animals, including dogs and cats, a dragon, tiger, and zebra and or course a variety of horses.
Beginning July 1, the City of Kingsport will be offering yearly memberships for the carousel. A membership costs $125 a year and provides the following benefits:
- 20 carousel ride tokens
- 10% off all merchandise in the gift shop
- Discounted birthday package
- Two members-only events to be announced at a later date
“The Kingsport Carousel is one of the city’s most popular destinations, so we wanted to offer folks the opportunity to enjoy the attraction even more,” said Special Events and Cultural Arts Director Kristie Leonard. “Our new membership plan is just another way for people to show their support of the carousel.”
Since opening in July 2015, the Kingsport Carousel has hosted more than 500,000 riders from all 50 states and beyond. The carousel is open to the public year-round and all rides are $1. Private parties and birthday parties start at $100 and can be booked by calling 423-392-8414.
