Section of Fort Robinson Drive to be temporarily closed

The City of Kingsport will be performing needed water system repairs along Fort Robinson Drive next week.

The repairs will take place on Monday (April 20) and Tuesday (April 21) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.

During this time, Fort Robinson Drive will be closed between Bent Street and Union Street. A detour route will be in place while the work is in progress.

Motorists are urged to slow down, obey all warnings and road closures and use caution while traveling in this area.
