Registration open for Kingsport’s Youth Basketball program
Kingsport Parks and Recreation is now accepting registrations for its 2026 Youth Basketball program.
Participants must live inside Kingsport’s city limits, own city property or attend Kingsport City Schools. Leagues offered include:
- Bantam (5-6)
- Pee Wee Boys (7-8)
- Pee Wee Girls (7-9)
- Rookie Boys (9-10)
- Junior Boys (11-12)
- Junior Girls (10-12)
- Intermediate Boys (13-14)
- Senior Boys (15-17)
Bantam, Pee Wee Boys, Pee Wee Girls, Rookie Boys and Senior Boys will begin their games on October 19; Junior Boys, Junior Girls and Intermediate Boys will begin their games December 1.
The registration fee is $30 per child, and the age determination date is August 15, 2026. After rosters are released, parents will have to go to Wheelhouse and order their jersey – $11 for the Bantam league and $19 for all other leagues.
“Our youth basketball leagues are designed to provide boys and girls with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals, build teamwork and compete in a fun and positive environment,” said Program Administrator Nate Williams. “We hope it’s an enjoyable experience for everyone who plays.”
