Registration open for Intermediate Basketball Skills and Drills
Kingsport Parks and Recreation is offering an Intermediate Basketball Skills and Drills program in September for children interested in learning the advanced skills of this fast-paced sport.
The four-week intermediate program will be held at the V.O. Dobbins, Sr. Complex (301 Louis Street) on Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in September. Open for participants ages 8 to 16.
The Skills & Drills program focuses on more advanced skills of basketball, such as dribbling, shooting and passing. Participants will improve their basketball IQ and strengthen their confidence through engaging speed, footwork and agility drills.
The registration fee is $40 for city residents and $45 for non-city residents. To register, visit https://bit.ly/4xTBKE1.
