GENERAL NARRATIVE |
||||
On September 11, 2023, at approximately 11:00 am, Kingsport Officers responded to a disturbance at Firestone Complete Auto Care (401 W. Center Street). Officers located two injured males upon their arrival. Through their investigation, Officers learned that Carroll Teboe was a customer at Firestone, and became upset. Teboe kicked the front glass door of Firestone, causing it to break. Teboe suffered cuts to his leg as a result of kicking the glass. Teboe tried to leave the scene in his 2001 tan Toyota 4-Runner, but was stopped by a Firestone employee, Michael Stanley. Teboe was seated in the driver’s seat, and Stanley was standing at driver’s door which was open. Teboe accelerated the 4-Runner in reverse, which caught Stanley in the door and dragged him through the parking lot. Stanley was taken to a local hospital for injuries to his head and back, and is in stable condition. Teboe was taken to a local hospital and was treated for the cuts to his leg, before being taken to the Kingsport City Jail for booking. Teboe was charged with aggravated assault, vandalism, and disorderly conduct. |
