| SUBJECT: | Suspect Wanted for Robbery and Theft of Subutex | ||

| GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
| On December 27, 2016 at approximately 1:00 AM, Clarence E. Johnson went to the home of an acquaintance in the 600 block of Riverside Avenue in Kingsport, and asked the resident if he had any medicine. When the resident denied having any, Mr. Johnson “sucker punched” him. The victim fell to his knees and was immediately delivered a follow-up blow, with Johnson striking him in the chin with his knee.
Mr. Johnson then grabbed a bottle of Subutex prescribed to the victim and fled the scene in an older model dark blue Toyota 4Runner mid-sized sport utility vehicle. The victim was transported to an area medical facility by Sullivan County E.M.S. where he was treated for various abrasions and contusions as well as a fractured sinus cavity. An arrest warrant has been obtained, charging Mr. Johnson with 1) Robbery and 2) Theft of Property under $1,000. He is currently wanted and remains at large. He is best described as a 49 year old white male adult, standing approximately 6 feet tall and weighing roughly 160 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes and wears glasses.
