GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
On June 18, 2018 at approximately 8:15 PM, an unidentified white female suspect entered Belk, inside the Fort Henry Mall, located at 2101 Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport. She went directly to the ladies handbag section, selected a total of four purses, and exited the store without paying for any of them.
The total value of the stolen merchandise was approximately $400. Upon reviewing store surveillance video, the woman could be seen entering the store more or less empty-handed, and then exiting the store with multiple handbags slung over her shoulders. Photographs captured from that surveillance video footage have been included in this release. Anyone who recognizes her is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D.
