GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
On the afternoon of December 26, 2017, a man misplaced his debit card shortly after using it a JCPenney inside the Fort Henry Mall, located at 2101 Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport. Soon thereafter, his card apparently fell into the wrong hands and was utilized to conduct multiple fraudulent transactions throughout Kingsport to include:
1) $654.74 at Walmart 2) $603.72 at GameStop 3) $299.88 at Cato 4) $1,000 at Walmart 5) $297.38 at Ulta A white female suspect was recorded on surveillance video during several of these transactions. She was also recorded getting into a light colored minivan following one of those transactions. An array of photos of the suspect and her vehicle taken from that footage has been included in this release. Anyone who recognizes her or her vehicle, or who may be able to provide any additional information which may help solve this case, is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D.
