SUBJECT: | Pair Sought in Convenience Store Burglary/$1,800 Cigarette Theft | ||

GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
On October 21, 2020 a burglary to the Roadrunner Market, located at 4222 Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport, was reported to the Kingsport Police Department. The incident occurred on September 26, 2020 at approximately 12:30 AM; however, it was not discovered until a product shortage found during a later inventory prompted a review of surveillance video footage.
Two individuals, one black male adult and one black female adult, conspired to distract the clerk while the male suspect burglarized an employee only access storage area and stole a large box containing 31 cartons of cigarettes with a value of over $1,800.00. The suspects left the scene in a black and gold pickup truck. Photos of these two individuals, taken from store surveillance video, have been included in this release.
