At the time of his arrest, Mr. Yancy was already on Supervised Probation with the Tennessee Department of Corrections (TDOC). He subsequently violated the terms of his Community Corrections and Absconded resulting in an additional warrant being issued by TDOC in January 2019.

He is also wanted out of Washington County, Virginia for Violation of Parole, Contempt of Court, and Felony Schedule I and Schedule II Drug Violations.

Mr. Yancy is from Detroit, Michigan; however, he is believed to still be in the Kingsport area. He is a 48 year old black male adult. He is approximately 5 feet 10 inches in height, weighs roughly 142 pounds, and has brown eyes and a bald head.
