| GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
| On the afternoon of June 27, 2019 Laura L. Amos was reported as a missing person to the Kingsport Police Department by her mother. Her mother told officers that her daughter had been out of contact with her since May 15th which is out of character for her. Based on this and other factors relayed to officers, there is reasonable cause to be concerned for her health and welfare.
Ms. Amos has been entered into N.C.I.C. as a missing person. She is a 41 year old white female adult with brown hair and blue eyes. She is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs roughly 139 pounds. A photograph of Ms. Amos has been included with this release. Anyone who sees her or who may know her current whereabouts is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
