| GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
| On the morning of May 14, 2019 a juvenile, Mahala J. Norris, was reported as a missing person to the Kingsport Police Department by her grandfather/guardian. Mahala was last seen at the Eastman Recreation Area, located at 406 Bays Mountain Park in Kingsport.
Based upon the investigation thus far, foul play is not suspected; however, based upon her minor age and her personal history, there is reason to be concerned for her safety and welfare. Mahala is a 13 year old white female juvenile with brown hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs roughly 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jean shorts, a white crop top shirt, and black sandals. Two photos of Mahala are included with this release. Anyone who sees her or who may know her current whereabouts is asked to contact the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
