SUBJECT: | Kingsport Police Release Surveillance Video of Blakely-Mitchell Burglary in Effort to Identify Suspect | ||

GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
On the morning of August 25, 2020 the Kingsport Police Department was notified of a burglary that occurred during the previous overnight hours at Blakely-Mitchell Clothing Store, located at 240 Broad Street in Downtown Kingsport. Area surveillance video showed a white male adult, believed to be the suspect, arrive in a black vehicle (possibly a BMW). Over $5,000 in clothing and accessories were reported stolen.
Photos of the suspect and his vehicle have been included in this release, while clips of the actual footage have also been made available for viewing on the K.P.D. YouTube channel via the links below: Anyone who recognizes the suspect or his vehicle is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D.
