| Update: Haydin Salter has been located safe and is no longer considered a missing juvenile. Caitlin Russell remains classified as missing. Again, foul play is not suspected.
Anyone who sees Caitlin or may possibly know her current whereabouts is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111. Alternatively, if an individual who is able to supply information related to this or any other case wishes not to be identified, tips can be submitted anonymously via online “Citizen Feedback” forms available at the following link: https://www.kingsporttn.gov/city-services/police-department/contact-us As previously released: The Kingsport Police Department is requesting public input to help locate two missing teenagers. Haydin Salter (13 year old female) and Caitlin Russell (14 year old female) were reported missing on August 10, 2020. They were both last seen in the 400 block of New Beason Well Road in Kingsport. While investigators have no reason to suspect foul play in either case, based on their minor age, every possible effort is being made to locate them. Photos and descriptions of each juvenile have been included in this release. Anyone who sees either of them or may possibly know their current whereabouts is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D.
