SUBJECT: | Kingsport Police Attempting to Identify $6,000 Lawnmower Thief | ||

GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
On November 5, 2020 at approximately 7:00 AM, an unidentified suspect stole a Kubota zero-turn mower (value over $6,000) from Kubota of Kingsport, located at 921 East Stone Drive of Kingsport. The suspect drove the mower from the Kubota lot into the parking lot of a neighboring business, where he loaded it onto a trailer. He then fled the scene, pulling the trailer behind what appeared to be a white Ford pickup truck.
The suspect, pictured driving the stolen mower in the accompanying photo, appears to be a white male adult wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants. Anyone who recognizes him or his vehicle description, or who may know the whereabouts of the stolen mower, is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D.
