GENERAL NARRATIVE
The Kingsport Police Department is now taking applications for Emergency Dispatchers. Starting pay with no experience is $18.80 an hour. New hires will also receive 40 vacation hours at initial hiring and earn 80 hours throughout the first year. Employees will be enrolled in the Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System and be eligible to receive a comprehensive health insurance package that includes dental and eye insurance.
