GENERAL NARRATIVE |

|
On Friday, August 4, the Tennessee Highway Safety Office recognized the achievements of law enforcement agencies statewide during its 19th Annual Law Enforcement Challenge. This year, 73 Law Enforcement Challenge applications were submitted: 19 from West Tennessee, 21 from Middle Tennessee, 17 from East Tennessee, 16 from the Cumberland Region, and one submission from each of the Tennessee Highway Patrol districts.
The Kingsport Police Department was awarded second place for traffic safety enforcement and training in the 101-200 officer category. |
