| SUBJECT: | K.P.D. Investigating Stapleton Drive Shooting as a Homicide | ||

| GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
| On April 19, 2018 at approximately 8:45 PM, Kingsport Police Patrol Officers responded to 524 Stapleton Drive in Kingsport regarding a shooting incident. Upon arrival, they found a 56 year old white male adult victim, recently deceased from what appeared to be gunshot wounds, inside the residence.
The K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division was called to the scene. Detectives are actively investigating this shooting incident as a homicide and are currently in the process of following up on several leads. The suspect responsible is still unidentified and currently remains at large. Detectives request for anyone who has any information that may assist with this investigation to please contact them as soon as possible in the K.P.D.
