The Kingsport Police Department is attempting to locate missing person, Marlin H. Waddell, who has not been seen or heard from in a couple of weeks. While foul play is not suspected at this time, due to his age and possibly declining mental health, every possible effort is being made to locate him.

Mr. Waddell is a 66 year old white male adult. He is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs roughly 135 pounds. He has gray hair and green eyes. He was last seen on foot on October 18, 2020 on Interstate 26 near mile-marker 6 (Rock Springs Road interchange).

While he has resided in Kingsport for at least the past two years, there is an indication that he may be attempting to make his way to Atlanta, Georgia.

Anyone who sees him or may know his current whereabouts is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
