| A book of checks belonging to a Kingsport resident recently turned up missing. On October 18, 2016 at around 12:30 PM, one of the missing checks was written for $100, endorsed with a forged signature, and deposited into an Eastman Credit Union account.
Upon reviewing ECU surveillance video, Detectives located footage of two white male adult suspects traveling in a car together when the check was deposited. A photo of these two individuals taken from that footage has been included in this release. Anyone who recognizes either of these men is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
